About Lemon Squeezy Psychology
Hi! I’m Lydia, the director of Lemon Squeezy Psychology. LSP was founded out of a desire to help people create positive change in their lives. As a neuro-affirming and inclusive practice, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for everyone who walks through the door.
Being an Educational & Developmental Psychologist, I know a lot about human development across the lifespan. I’m passionate about working with children and their related systems - parents, caregivers, partners and schools - to achieve a meaningful and fulfilled life.
I have a keen interest and understanding of the diagnostic processes of Specific Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. By conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, I aim to help people understand their unique profile of strengths and areas requiring support.
I use a range of techniques in my therapeutic practice, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies. I’m all about being in your child’s corner, and keenly appreciate the value of involving parents, caregivers and teachers in the therapeutic process.
The trust and opportunity that I’ve been given to help young people thrive is a privilege that I am grateful for and value highly.
Experience
I have worked in private practice and in primary and secondary school settings, delivering assessment and counselling services to a range of varying presentations. I also work in tertiary education as a Teaching Associate and sessional research supervisor.
